Donating time, money, or your personal comfort to help better the lives of others is such a wonderful feeling. I encourage everyone to try to make a difference in making the world a better place at least one time per month.
It feels so good to give and to help others. It is a secret tip to happiness and success. You have to give in order to receive!
When runners want to raise money for a good cause, they run a marathon. When yogis want to raise money, we do a Yogathon.
Yesterday, I helped a group of yogis at Merritt Athletic Club’s Buckingham location raise money by doing as many sun salutations as they could in 60 minutes. This is what yogis call a Yogathon.
Yogathons are very challenging by nature. We are supposed to feel sweaty, sore and exhausted afterward. We sacrifice our bodies in honor or in memory of others who have suffered or are suffering presently.
Thank you so much to all who participated in the Yoga to Save the Tatas Round 1.
Remember Round 2 of Yoga to Save the Tatas will be on Thursday, October 6th at 7 pm at Merritt Athletic Club’s Canton location. We will be doing as many sun salutations as we can in 90 minutes. RSVP by clicking here.
With love and gratitude,
